1. The Supreme Court refuses to stay Waqf law; Puts on hold certain provisions of Waqf Amendment Act 2025 including 5-year Islamic practice clause.

1. Unified Payments Interface (UPI) users can now make Person-to-Merchant (P2M) transactions of upto 10 lakh rupees within 24 hours, with verified merchant for specified categories effective from yesterday.
