1. Union Education Minister Pradhan inaugurated India’s first overseas Atal Innovation Centre at IIT Delhi–Abu Dhabi during his UAE visit, aiming to boost educational cooperation, foster innovation, and launch new programs in Energy & Sustainability and Chemical Engineering.

2. India has secured nine major world records in space exploration, with ISRO Chairman V. Narayanan announcing plans to achieve 8–10 more in the coming years, citing milestones like the Mars Orbiter Mission (first nation to reach Mars on its maiden attempt), PSLV-C37 (launched 104 satellites in one mission), and Chandrayaan-3 (first spacecraft to land near lunar South Pole).

3. Union Minister of Education Dharmendra Pradhan marked Teachers’ Day in Dubai with the launch of Atal Tinkering Labs (ATL) in CBSE-affiliated schools across the UAE, calling it a major step in fostering innovation and skills among young learners abroad.

The 14th International Government Communication Forum (IGCF 2025) opened in Sharjah under the patronage of Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, bringing together 237 speakers from around the world across more than 110 sessions. Organised by the Sharjah Government Media Bureau at Expo Centre Sharjah, the three-day event is themed “Communication for Quality of Life” and addresses priorities including food security, public health, education, environmental sustainability, and the green economy.
