Actress Sumbul Touqeer Khan has unveiled the first poster of her upcoming Bollywood film Jhaad Phoonk. Taking to Instagram, the actress shared the poster with her fans and captioned it, “‘Jhaad Phoonk’ teaser will be out tomorrow @11am winter 2025 release… The first poster of #JhaadPhoonk ‘झाड़ फूंक’ presented by Niiv Entertainment India Pvt. Ltd #niiventertainmentindia @niiventerta.”
The film is scheduled for a winter 2025 release. Jhaad Phoonk is being presented by Niiv Entertainment India Pvt. Ltd. and has been shot in Uttarakhand. The film marks Sumbul’s much-anticipated return to the big screen after a gap of six years. She is reportedly starring opposite actor Harsh Rajput, adding to the excitement around the project. Sumbul was last seen in Bollywood in 2019 when she appeared in Article 15, the critically acclaimed film directed by Anubhav Sinha. Since then, she has primarily worked in television, establishing herself as one of the most popular young faces in the industry. She is currently seen in Itti si Khushi, while her earlier television work has already made her a household name.
Sumbul is best known for her portrayal of Imlie Chaturvedi Rathore in the hit Star Plus show Imlie, a role that brought her immense recognition. She also impressed audiences as IAS Kavya Bansal Pradhan in Kavya – Ek Jazbaa, Ek Junoon, which further showcased her versatility as an actress. In addition to her acting credits, Sumbul has made a mark in the world of reality television.
