the unplanned holiday in the
the busiest season of the year,
it just happens sometimes,
you know, as members of
the human race,
we have to abide
to the unsaid underlined
social rules of marriage ceremony
and be part of other’s joy
and celebration even if
we have our necks at stake
at work
we have to take a break
we have to attend the ceremony
we have to fake smile
and the surprise comes
when we return
there is already a heap of papers
stacked neatly in the office
it is more than sufficient to
disguise a young lady and
turn her cold, white, pale,
and distant
