Diwakar Kumar is super excited for his upcoming film Vadh, which is due to release on December 9, 2022. Diwakar, who has been relentlessly honing his craft through various modes like workshops and stage plays, believes that the two stalwarts he shares screen space with are a school in acting themselves. He will be seen playing the protagonist, the son of Sanjay Mishra and Neena Gupta, in the crime thriller. The narrative will showcase the tumultuous journey of a family that goes through harassment at the hands of the antagonist.

“It is a dream come true for a theater professional like me to be in a film with stalwarts like Sanjay Mishraji and Neenaji. The way they made me feel comfortable and their sheer humility were things that truly inspired me. Every scene and every moment spent on set was a great learning experience for me. They complement the co-actor in a beautiful way, and their understanding of the rhythm of the scene is impeccable.”

Having done a huge number of stage shows and essaying some extremely challenging characters, this bloom was due in Diwakar’s professional career.

His journey began with the film Irada, with Naseeruddin hah and Arshad Warsi. Diwakar’s has always aimed to challenge himself and surprise his audience in every movie.

Playing his namesake in the upcoming film Vadh was not easy for him. “I had to go through a lot of preparation to play Diwakar, as he is completely opposite of how I am in real life. The biggest challenge is to empathize with the character and see the world through their eyes.

Having set his foot firmly on the ground, Diwakar is all poised to take the big plunge in his acting career!
