This August, Mumbai will resonate with the divine sounds of Abhangs as SUGEE presents Abhangwari, a grand musical celebration marking 10 remarkable years of devotional expression through music. The much-awaited event will be held on 9th August 2025 at 8:30 PM at Prabodhankar Thackeray Auditorium, Borivali.
Presented by Sugee and initiated by Vasantotsav, Abhangwari continues to honour the rich tradition of Marathi devotional music, bringing together renowned and emerging voices on a single platform.
This milestone edition will feature two exceptional artists Rahul Deshpande and Deepti Mate.
Rahul Deshpande, a stalwart in Indian classical music, is widely respected for his mastery in Khayal, Natya Sangeet, and Abhangs. Grandson of the legendary Pt. Vasantrao Deshpande, Rahul brings a contemporary yet deeply rooted sensibility to traditional forms, captivating audiences across the globe.
