rbi all set to launch retail digital rupee from december 1

1. India will formally take over the G-20 presidency today (01 Dec 2022) . 100 monuments to be illuminated with G-20 logo.

2. President Droupadi Murmu gave away the National Sports and Adventure Awards 2022 at Rashtrapati Bhawan on 30 Nov.

3. Rashtrapati Bhavan will be open for public viewing from today for five days in a week.

The tour will be available on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

1. Mumbai stood at 22nd rank in a global index that measures annual price appreciation of premium residential properties, according to Knight Frank.

3. Capital markets regulator Sebi has set up a high-level panel to review the takeover norms in a move to simplify and strengthen the current rules by adopting appropriate global practices.

4. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) announced a trial for retail digital rupee (e ₹-R) beginning 1 December. The central bank has identified eight banks for phase-wise participation in this trial. The retail digital rupee will be in the form of a digital token that represents legal tender.
