1. The versatile sounding rocket of ISRO, The Indian Space Research Organisation has registered its 200th consecutive successful launch from the shores of Thumba, Thiruvananthapuram on Wednesday termed it a ‘historic moment’.

2. ISRO Indian Space Research Organisation is launching a total of nine satellites into space with PSLV-c54 mission on saturday.

India’s premier launch vehicle will blast off from the launchpad with the Earth Observation Satellite (EOS-06) and eight nano-satellites from Sriharikota. This will be the final PSLV launch of the year for ISRO.

3. Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER) Minister G. Kishan Reddy has chaired a review meeting with Field Technical Support Units (FTSUs) in New Delhi.

4. Rashtrapati Bhavan will be open for public viewing for five days in a week from the first of December.

1. State Bank of India continues to dominate the debit cards market in October 2022, with a 29% share.

1. Museum maker AP. Shreethar was honored with Economic Times Inspiring Leaders Award 2022 in Delhi. The award was presented by Actress Mrunal Thakur.

2. Ravi Kumar Sagar, one of the youngest founders and CEO of RK’S INNO group was conferred with the most prestigious Dr. Abdul Kalam Seva Puraskar. The award was presented to him for his persistent service to society and is one of the youngest entrepreneurs in India.

DEFENCE

1. China is building a giant heliport at Golmud in northern Tibet within striking distance of its borders with India. The enormous heliport which is said to have 63 hangars is reckoned to be one of China’s biggest.

Golmud already has a large airbase. But work on building the new and entirely separate heliport started in 2020 and is now nearly complete. The heliport also has its own barracks and support facilities.

2. Lieutenant General Asim Munir has been named as the new Pakistan Army chief to replace incumbent General Qamar Javed BajwaBajwa.

Munir was among those in Pakistan who oversaw the 2019 Pulwama terror attack, according to Tilak Devasher, a member of the National Security Advisory Board (NSAB) and who retired as Special Secretary, Cabinet Secretariat.

3. Indian Navy Takes Delivery Of Second Destroyer Of Project 15B Mormugao: The second ship of Project 15B stealth guided missile destroyers, Y 12705 (Mormugao), being built at Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited (MDL), was handed over to the Indian Navy on 24 Nov. The contract for four ships of Project 15B was signed in January 2011.

4. Army Red Team has won the 72nd Inter Services Volleyball Championship 2022-23. The Army Red team emerged victorious with a set score of 3-1. The closing ceremony of the Championship was organized at Eagles Indoor Volleyball Stadium in Secunderabad.

Two teams of the Indian Army, Red, and Green beside one team each of the Indian Navy and Indian Air Force participated in the event.
