ayush ministry to showcase initiatives achievements at 41st india international trade fair

1. The Ministry of Ayush is going to showcase its initiatives and various achievements at the 41st India International Trade Fair through its pavilion in New Delhi from the 14th November to the 27th November.

A bench of CJI Lalit, Justice S Ravindra Bhat and Justice Bela M Trivedi set aside the judgments and orders of conviction and sentence passed by the trial court and the high court in the case.

Amid the public outrage over the acquittal of three accused in the Chhawala rape and murder case, former Chief Justice of India UU Lalit on Sunday said unless and until that guilt is completely established, circumstantial evidence case theory is not to be accepted.

5. National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted raids across Tamil Nadu in connection with the Coimbatore blast case, the Tamil Nadu police have busted an Islamic State module and interrogated 18 suspects.

1. Why US treasury department removes India from its Currency Monitoring List?

78th US Secretary of the Treasury, Janet Yellen visited New Delhi and held talks with Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. On her first visit to India, United States Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen quoted President Joe Biden, saying that India is an “indispensable partner to the United States”. The United States also took India off its Currency Monitoring List, along with Italy, Mexico, Thailand, and Vietnam.

The removal from US’ Currency Monitoring List) means that the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) can now take robust measures to manage the exchange rates effectively, without being tagged as a currency manipulator. This is a big win from a markets standpoint and also signifies the growing role of India in global growth.” To manage exchange rates amid the rupee fall, the RBI recently took actions like buying dollars at the time of excess inflows and selling dollars at the time of outflows. For India, it is good news as we were designated a currency manipulator. The rupee could appreciate on account of this.”

2. The 41st edition of India International Trade Fair (IITF) will be held at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi from today (14 November). Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal will inaugurate the fair, which will continue till 27th of November. This year the theme of the trade fair is ‘Vocal For Local, Local to Global.’

3. Union Ayush Minister Sarbananda Sonowal has said India’s Ayush sector will command a market share of 23 billion US Dollars globally by 2023.

1. A 32-year-old Marathi television actor Kalyani Kurale-Jadhav died after her motorcycle was hit by a concrete mixer tractor in Kolhapur district on Saturday. Accident took place near Halondi intersection on Sangli-Kolhapur highway.

She appears in the TV serial ‘Tujyhat Jeev Rangala’.

2. Famous television actor Siddhaanth Vir Surryavanshi, funeral took place in Mumbai on November 12, His daughter, Diza, performed his last rites.

He was known for his roles in shows like ‘Kkusum’ and ‘Kasautii Zindagi Kay’, died on Friday 11 Nov at the age of 46. The actor died while working out at a gym at 11am.

1. Army Chief General Manoj Pande has embarked on a four day visit to France. During this visit, General Pande will be meeting his counterparts and senior military leadership of France to enhance defence cooperation between both nations.

During the visit, the Army Chief will be laying wreath at Neuve Chapelle Indian Memorial, which commemorates the sacrifices of 4,742 Indian soldiers during the First World War.

2. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has assured the Nation that the Armed Forces are fully equipped to give a befitting reply to anyone who casts an evil eye on India.
