Actor Hiten Paintal says that superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s journey to the phenomenal success that he enjoys today is inspiring. Despite coming from a non-filmy background, the actor has done so well for himself, says Hiten.
“I wish him a very Happy birthday. May he continue to entertain us like he always has, with his wonderful films. I’m really looking forward to Pathan. I’m sure it’s going to be a superb film. He made it very big in Bombay on his own. He’s actually one of the first people whose family wasn’t a part of the industry, and yet made it so big. And that’s why he’s called a Badshah of Bollywood you know, so it’s amazing,” he says.
He adds, “I think it was destined because he’s such a wonderful human being, he’s such a well-read person. He speaks so well. He’s so well-mannered. He’s so respectful. In all honesty, I love those things about Shah Rukh Khan. He’s so amazing and I think he’s one of the nicest people that there are in the industry.”
Talking about SRK’s body of work, Hiten says, “A lot of his films are my favourites. Right from Baazigar to Don to DDLJ to Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna all the films. I really love his films. I’m a huge fan of Shahrukh Khan.”
Hiten wishes he gets to meet and interact with the superstar soon. “Unfortunately, I haven’t got the opportunity to meet Shahrukh Khan. Actually, one time a couple of friends of mine were invited to his house. They were trying to drag me along. They said, ‘You know, you should come.’ But I decided not to go because I didn’t want to enter his house uninvited. So I missed that opportunity. But it’s okay, I’ll meet him some time.”
