1. US President Donald Trump has lashed out at Israel and Iran accusing both sides of violating the ceasefire. Mr Trump said he had told Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to call back Israeli planes that were headed toward Iran. US President warned Israel not to drop bombs on Iran.
2. Yesterday Israel agrees to a ceasefire with Iran; The ceasefire between Israel and Iran unraveled within hours of its announcement, as both sides launched fresh attacks and accused each other of violations.
3. Thailand has imposed restrictions on all travellers heading into Cambodia, as the two countries remain locked in a bitter border dispute.
4. The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has finally approved a $1.3 billion disbursement of the third and fourth tranches of Bangladesh’s $4.7 billion loan program.
5. Sri Lanka President Anura Kumara Dissanayake has granted special approval for the UN-flagged research vessel Dr Fridtjof Nansen to enter Sri Lankan waters.
6. A cargo ship that caught fire earlier this month in the Pacific Ocean has sunk : Cargo ship carrying 3,000 vehicles, including 800 EVs, sinks in the Pacific Ocean. Zodiac Maritime in a statement further said that the damage caused by the fire was compounded by heavy weather, and subsequently water entered inside the vessel, causing it to sink. The shipping company said that the cargo ship had sunk on June 23.
