1. Prime Minister Narendra Modi says Operation Sindoor has sent a strong global message about India’s zero-tolerance policy towards terrorism.
2. The NAVYA initiative is step towards empowering adolescent girls in India. Launched on 24th June 2025, this programme is a collaboration between the Ministry of Women and Child Development and the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship. It aims to provide vocational training to girls aged 16 to 18 years, particularly in non-traditional job roles.
3. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has carried out comprehensive surveillance at major airports, including Delhi and Mumbai. The surveillance revealed multiple deficiencies across the country’s aviation ecosystem.
4. The government is set to start a crop-wise campaign from Thursday to increase crop production, Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said, the crop-wise campaign will start with Soybean from Indore, Madhya Pradesh. He said, during the campaign farmers, scientists and stakeholders will sit together and discuss to increase the production of Soybean.
5. The Telangana government will launch the Telangana Rising 2047 Vision Policy Document. This initiative aims to transform the state into a $3 trillion economy by 2047, with an interim goal of reaching a $1 trillion economy by 2035.
6. Samvidhaan Hatya Diwas will be observed today. It serves as a reminder of what happened when the Constitution of India was trampled over on 25th June 1975. It is also a day to pay homage to each and every person who suffered due to the excesses of the Emergency.
7. The Central Health Ministry of India has announced plans to integrate the Rare Donor Registry with the national digital platform e-Rakt Kosh. Developed under the National Health Mission (NHM), e-Rakt Kosh provides real-time data on blood banks, availability of blood units, and donation camps across India. This integration is expected to save lives by making rare blood types easily traceable across states and blood banks.
8. Telangana State government has decided to present complete facts about the Kaleshwaram project to the judicial commission headed by retired judge Justice P.C. Ghose before the end of this month.
9. Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has introduced kiosks for issuing laddu tokens at the prasadam counters in Tirumala to enable pilgrims purchase additional laddus conveniently. A receipt notifying the cost of additional laddus is generated and payment can be made through UPI.
10. IIT-Delhi has launched a special PhD admission campaign targeting SC and ST applicants, seeking to address long-standing gaps in representation. The initiative is a response to underfilled reserved seats and follows recent scrutiny by a parliamentary committee.
11. India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast favourable conditions for further advancement of monsoon into Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan in next two days.
12. In Bihar, the South West Monsoon is fully active triggering heavy rainfall in several parts of the state. Heavy rainfall has also occurred in the catchment areas of rivers originating from Nepal and due to this, rivers including Gandak, Bagmati, and Kosi are in full spate.

1. Civil Aviation Minister K Rammohan Naidu said the black box of the Air India plane, which crashed in Ahmedabad recently, is being examined by the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau. Talking to media on the sidelines of an event in Pune, he rejected reports suggesting that the black box will be sent abroad for an inquiry.

1. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has said the government has taken several measures to reduce the burden on trade by cutting down tariffs to support manufacturing and promote export. Addressing the Exim Bank Trade Conclave 2025 in New Delhi.
2. The CSIR-National Institute for Interdisciplinary Science and Technology (CSIR-NIIST) and the North East Centre for Technology Application and Reach (NECTAR) have signed an MoU to set up vegan leather manufacturing units in Meghalaya and other northeastern states. The initiative focuses on transforming agro-waste into plant-based leather, empowering local farmers, MSMEs, and women-led self-help groups while reducing environmental pollution from waste burning.
3. Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI) has announced that it will conduct the first-ever All-India Household Income Survey in 2026. This move will help understand income distribution, assess technological impacts on wages, and fill existing gaps in welfare and economic inequality data. The survey will be guided by a Technical Expert Group (TEG) chaired by Surjit Bhalla, former Executive Director at the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

1. In a significant move to strengthen Indian Army’s operational readiness in counter-terrorism operations, the of Defence has cleared thirteen contracts under the Emergency Procurement mechanism. These contracts, amounting to one thousand 981 crore rupees, have been finalised against an overall sanctioned outlay of two thousand crore rupees for the Indian Army.
2. The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) of India has made move to enhance the capabilities of the armed forces. It has offered 28 existing weapon systems for emergency procurement. This initiative aligns with the government’s push for self-reliance in defence manufacturing.
3. Government authorises Chief of Defence Staff and Secretary of Department of Military Affairs to issue joint orders for all three services to modernise Forces.
4. Southern Army Commander Lieutenant Dhiraj Seth has met Chief Minister of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis in Mumbai and held discussions on issues of mutual interest on several relevant and wide-ranging issues of mutual interest, such as civil-defence cooperation, internal security, veteran welfare, and disaster response.

Governor KT Parnaik urged the Indian Army to play a proactive role in guiding and mentoring the youths of Arunachal Pradesh by engaging with schools, organizing motivational talks, and creating awareness about career opportunities in the armed forces. He said during a meeting with 56 Infantry Division General Officer Commanding (GOC) Maj Gen Vivek at the Raj Bhavan.
6. Indian Navy will commission INS Tamal, a state-of-the-art stealth multi-role frigate, on 1 July 2025, at Kaliningrad, Russia.
7. About B-2 Spirit
The B-2 Spirit, also known as the Stealth Bomber, is a long-range, stealth strategic bomber developed by Northrop Grumman for the United States Air Force.

While not an official nickname, some people in the military refer to it as Boomerang. The aircraft also has individual names, typically “Spirit of…” followed by a state or place, such as “Spirit of Texas”.
The United States Air Force has nineteen B-2s in service as of 2024; one was destroyed in a 2008 crash and another one damaged in a crash in 2022 was retired from service likely on account of the cost and duration of a potential repair.
