Enraged by the exploitation,
I lost my temper.
Body began to heat,
Voice started quivering,
I knew I had a dialogue written,
prepared, and rehearsed but
when the moment arrived:
It was not same at all
as visualized or sounded
in my head.
World is nor sane, good
or even fair at times. There are
people who cannot hold promises.
People who forfeit disclosures.
Thus, we need laws, binding contracts,
taxes, police, somebody, anybody to
keep us in check.
Not because these are absolutely essential
to hold the society together but because
most of us hold
no virtues,
because most of us are hollow to cores.
