1. Common University Entrance Test, CUET Result 2022 released by NTA. Official website cuet.samarth.ac.in. The candidates will be able to access the CUET UG Result 2022 with their login credentials.

The CUET( UG) was conducted in six phases between the 15th of July and the 30th of August in 259 cities in the country and nine cities abroad. Around 14.9 lakh candidates registered for the CUET this year. It has been introduced for admission into UG Programmes in Central Universities.

2. Union Minister for Education Dharmendra Pradhan launched Ramakrishna Mission’s ‘Awakening’ Programme for students of class 1 to 5th.

The Union Minister also called upon Central Board Secondary Education to institute an advisory framework for encouraging value-based education in all schools from Balvatika to Class 12th for creating a talent pool ready for the challenges.

3. Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh launched Dashboard of Department of Science and Technology, DST for countrywide monitoring and feedback to ensure effective implementation of projects, schemes, scholarships and fellowships funded by DST.

4. A book titled Ambedkar and Modi: Reformer’s Ideas Performer’s Implementation will be released on 16 Sep Friday in New Delhi. The book illustrates life, works and achievements of Dr. Ambedkar.

5. National Commission for Protection of Child Rights, NCPCR revamps online portal E-Baal Nidan for time bound redressal of grievances.

New features- Bifurcation of complaints based on nature of complaint into their subject matters like Juvenile Justice, POCSO, Labour & Education.

6. The Central Bureau of Communication announces a bouquet of entertainment and infotainment programs for a whole month on Kartavya Path, a stretch of the Central Vista from the Rashtrapati Bhavan to India Gate.

7. Safe to consume milk from cattle infected by Lumpy Skin Disease (LSD) as it is not transmissible from animals to humans: Indian Veterinary Research Institute (IVRI), Mukteshwar, Uttarakhand.

8. India Post Payments Bank (IPPB), a division of India Post, the country’s postal giant, has partnered with the Indian microblogging platform Koo.

9. ASSAM : Centre signs tripartite peace agreement with Assam govt and eight tribal groups.

The agreement was signed to end decade old crisis of tribal groups and tea garden workers in Assam. The tribal groups which have signed the agreement include, Birsa Commando Force, Adivasi People’s Army, All Adivasi National Liberation Army, Adivasi Cobra Military of Assam and Santhal Tiger Force.

10. HARYANA : The world’s largest museum of Harappan culture is coming up in Rakhigarhi in Haryana to showcase about 5,000-year-old Indus Valley artefacts.

11. MADHYA PRADESH : PM Modi will release wild Cheetahs in Kuno National Park in Madhya Pradesh on Saturday under Project Cheetah, which is the world’s first inter-continental large wild carnivore translocation project.

12. Indore will create history by implementing a fully digital addressing system, making it the first city in India to do so. The smart city advanced significantly when a memorandum of understanding was signed with the firm Pataa Navigations.

13. KERALA Governor Arif Mohammed Khan said that the University Laws (Amendment) Bill passed recently by the state assembly seeks to legalise illegalities and was aimed at appointing underqualified relatives of the State Chief Minister and other ministers on the rolls of the universities.

14. Sanjay Kumar Rakesh, a former IAS officer, has been named the managing director of the CSC e-Governance India SPV, which is run by the central government.

1. J&K : Security forces on Thursday foiled a major terror attack with the arrest of a “hybrid terrorist” in Jammu and Kashmir’s Reasi district, police said. The security forces also recovered arms, ammunition and explosives from a hideout and Rs 1,81,000 in cash that was to be used for terror-related activities.

2. 6 Pakistani nationals held with drugs worth Rs 200 crore in the Arabian Sea off Gujarat coast.

1. The Central Board of Direct Tax (CBDT) has clarified in a circular issued on 13 September 2022 that the banks are not to deduct 10 % Tax Deduction at Source (TDS) on one-time settlement (OTS) or loan waivers.

2. Wholesale Price Index (WPI) based inflation declines to 12.41% in August.

3. The public sector lender Punjab National Bank (PNB) has hiked its interest rate on fixed deposits of less than ₹2 Cr for senior citizens and super senior citizens. As per the official website of the bank, the new rates are effective as of 13th September 2022. PNB where the bank is now promising a maximum interest rate of 6.60% for senior citizens and 6.90% for super senior citizens.

4. Axis Bank and Square Yards launched ‘Open Doors’, a co-branded Home Buyer Ecosystem. The ‘Open Doors’ platform will ensure that the complete journey from searching to buying one’s dream home becomes an efficient and delightful experience for the customers.

5. Google acquire Mandiant: Google for $5.4 billion acquired Cybersecurity company Mandiant has been fully acquired according to Thomas Kurian, CEO of Google Cloud.

Ram Gopal Varma has spoken out about what led to the failure of Vijay Deverakonda-starrer Liger, which marked the actor’s pan-India debut. Unlike recent South films including RRR, Pushpa and KGF: Chapter 2, Liger failed to impress the audience and RGV believes that it’s because Vijay Deverakonda’s attitude.

1. BSF’s first female camel riding squad is ready to be deployed along the India-Pakistan border in Rajasthan and Gujarat. The squad will participate for the first time in the BSF Raising Day Parade on 1ST December.

2. Army chief General Manoj Pande on Thursday said India’s dependence on imported technologies for defence has emerged as a “strategic vulnerability”, and stressed the need for self-sufficiency in the sector, saying country’s security can neither be outsourced nor be dependent on the largesse of others.

3. To improve the war capabilities of the Indian Navy with the resilient indigenous technological ecosystem, INIP (Indian Naval Indigenization Plan) 2015-2030 is formulated to upgrade to high-end technologies.

4. The Indian Navy has revived its training area at the Manasbal lake in Jammu and Kashmir’s Ganderbal district, 33 years after it was closed following the eruption of terrorism in the erstwhile state.
