It is coming, the minute to fulfill
the promise, the minute of
engagement, the minute of
teaching.
They, the children might have
already reached the class and
waiting eagerly like dancing
electrons for it to begin.
I want to go too.
I want to be with them.
But it’s hard to choose between
reading an incredible book and
teaching brilliant young minds.
I love both.
It is cruel to choose.
Yet, I will go.
For, time has come, minute has
arrived. And promises must be
kept.
