2. India contributes 4 lakh US dollars to four Voluntary Trust Funds as part of its commitment to global promotion and protection of human rights and support for UN Human Rights.

3. Meenakshi Lekhi Minister of State for External Affairs to embark on three nation tour to Norway, Iceland and Malta from 16 Aug; to interact with members of Indian diaspora and participate in cultural events as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations.

2. Kenya’s veteran politician and presidential candidate Raila Odinga on Tuesday vowed to pursue all constitutional and legal options after rejecting the outcome of last week’s election that handed the presidency to his rival William Ruto.

3. Nepal, the Election Commission(EC) has said that it has intensified the preparation for the upcoming elections of the Provincial and Federal Parliaments. The Elections will be held on the 20th of November.
