At present, the entire amount of the distance from one toll to another toll is collected from the vehicles. Even if you are not going there and your journey is being completed somewhere in the middle, but the toll has to be paid in full. Now the central government is going to collect toll tax from satellite navigation system. Its pilot project is going on.

10. *JHARKHAND* CM Hemant Soren’s political aide Pankaj Mishra was arrested by Enforcement Directorate on Tuesday in connection with an alleged money laundering case related to illegal mining. Mishra was taken to a Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) court. ED had earlier said that it had seized ₹11.88 crore lying in 37 bank accounts belonging to Mishra and others.
11. *KERALA* : National Testing Agency- NTA has constituted a Fact Finding Committee to ascertain the facts in detail in connection with an incident that allegedly happened in one of the Examination Centres of NEET(UG)- 2022 near Kollam district in Kerala.
Around 100 students were asked to remove part of their undergarments to enter the exam hall to take medical entrance exams at the metal detection stage during the frisking process before entering the exam center.
As per the dress code, students are not allowed to wear any metallic object or accessories while entering the exam hall. This is said to be an anti-cheating measure. While the advisory talks about belts, it does not talk about undergarments such as bras which can include under wiring. The incident took place in the exam center at Kollam.

1. The Reserve Bank of India has issued a revised regulatory framework for Urban Cooperative Banks as per the recommendations of the expert committee formed under the Chairmanship of RBI’s former Deputy Governor Mr. N S Vishwanathan.
Accordingly, RBI has decided to adopt a simple four-tiered regulatory framework based on size of deposits of the banks and their area of operations.
2. The Govt has sanctioned two thousand 877 Electric Vehicle Charging Stations in 68 cities across 25 States and Union Territories under Phase-2 of FAME India scheme (Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of Electric Vehicles).
3. The Department of Commerce has notified a new Rule – Work from Home in Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006 across all Special Economic Zones.
The notification was issued on demand from the industry for making a provision for a country-wide uniform Work From Home policy across all Special Economic Zones.
