1. Khelo India Youth Games-2021 being hosted by Haryana, Maharashtra is leading in medal tally by winning 9 gold, 4 silver and 4 bronze medals followed by Haryana with 5 golds, six silvers and 12 bronze medals. Manipur is at third place by 4 gold medals and one silver medals.
2. Haryana got first gold medal in the ongoing cycling competitions in different categories at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi Stadium. Vrinda Yadav won Haryana’s first gold medal.
3. Spaniard Rafael Nadal has won 14th singles title of the tournament beating Casper Ruud of Norway 6-3, 6-3, 6-0 in the final.
With this victory, 36 year old Nadal has become the oldest champion at Roland Garros. It is his 22nd Grand Slam title.
4. Former England captain Joe Root has become the joint-youngest batter to reach 10,000 runs in Test cricket. Root completed 10,000 runs in Test cricket at the age of 31 years and 157 days, equalling Alastair Cook’s record. He overtook Sachin Tendulkar, who had reached the 10,000-run mark at the age of 31 years and 326 days.
5. Unseeded French pair of Caroline Garcia and Kristina Mladenovic have clinched their second French Open women’s doubles title together. The 2016 champions defeated eighth seeds Coco Gauff and Jessica Pegula of America 2-6, 6-3, 6-2 in final on Sunday. Overall, this is Mladenovic’s fourth French Open women’s doubles title.

At 36, Rafael Nadal set a series of record after winning his 14th French Open title. The Spaniard took his Grand Slam singles titles tally to 22, 2 more than Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic. Rafael Nadal defeated 8th seed Casper Ruud 6-3, 6-3, 6-0 in 2 hours and 18 minutes in a one-sided men’s singles final to reign supreme on the clay courts of Pairs.
