(c). Rajasthan Royals (RR) all-rounder Ravichandran Ashwin on Wednesday smashed his first-ever fifty in IPL. Playing his 71st innings in IPL, the 35-year-old scored 50 runs off 38 deliveries while batting at number three against Delhi Capitals (DC). Ashwin smashed four fours and two sixes during his knock. Ashwin has now scored 589 runs in his IPL career.
2. India’s Nitu entered the 48kg second round of the IBA Women’s World Boxing Championships in Istanbul after outpunching Romania’s Steluta Duta 5-0.

3. 12th Hockey India Sub Junior Women National Championship 2022, began from 11 May Wednesday in Imphal, Manipur. A total of 25 teams will vie for top honours in the 12-day tournament.
After seven days of pool matches, the Quarter-Finals will be played on 19th of May. The semi-finals will be held on May 21st and the Medal matches are scheduled for 22nd May.
4. Inter Milan won the Coppa Italia after an extra-time double from Croatian forward Ivan Perisic earned his side a 4-2 victory over Juventus in Wednesday’s final, ensuring Massimiliano Allegri’s Juventus team will finish the season trophy less.
