Young Dumb

Young Dumb

She entered young
into the city
(gallantly with furious
imaginations
and tough beliefs)
with one dream,
one quill, and
thousands
of blank papers.

But soon,
smokes of cigar
filled her in
and blackened
her heart.

She begun dreaming
in delirium
and woke up
in confusion.

She was losing
herself
in bits
and pieces,
fading away
with each stride
she picked
from others’
to color
the space,
to fit into
the place.

She entered dumb
into the city
to become
an another’,
to be wasted away
with the west winds.

(celebrating her fall
with a glass of wine)
