Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s wedding has constantly been in the news for the last few days. The much-awaited event, which has garnered a lot of publicity, has left their respective teams and staff members as emotional as power couple newlyweds and both their families.
The Bollywood stars Alia and Ranbir tied the knot on Thursday in a private wedding ceremony at home. The ceremony was witnessed only by very close family members and friends.
Among the massive deluge of social media messages shared for the couple there were two cute ones from Alia and Ranbir’s security personnel.
Sunil Talekar, who is the bride Alia BhattтАЩs personal bodyguard, shared a picture of himself with the couple and said: From holding your tiny hands to seeing you as a bride I can say my heart is filled with happiness today.
There was another post that touched hearts. Yusuf Ibrahim, is the person who is the security in-charge of the ace actors Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor. He also posted a pic of himself on his Instagram page with the newlywed couple and he wrote: “Mubrook Mr and Mrs Kapoor.”
Both these men were actually an integral part of this high profile wedding right from its preparations stage to all the security measures that were taken.
On Wednesday morning, that was the day of the mehendi ceremony, barricades were placed in front of the wedding venue and no one was allowed in. All phones were also tagged with stickers at the venue.
Yusuf Ibrahim shared sweets and mithai with the media teams that were present there at the venue after the wedding ceremony was over.
He also briefed the different media personnel present there about Alia and Ranbir’s first appearance: “Ranbir and Alia will pose for pictures after 7 pm today. Only one camera from each publication will be allowed,” he said, as reported by news agency PTI.
During the filming of Ayan Mukerji’s film Brahmastra, Alia and Ranbir had first started dating each other.
They got married finally, after so much speculation in the media about the wedding, in a ceremony at home in Vastu apartments, Pali Hill, on Thursday.
