1. India and Belgium explore defense engagements in Indo-Pacific, particularly in maritime domain.

1. USA President Donald Trump has confirmed that 25% tariffs on Canadian and Mexican products will be implemented as planned.

2. In Bolivia, 31 killed, 22 injured in truck-bus collision.

3. In Bangladesh, protests were held against the home affairs adviser Jahangir Alam Chowdhury in Dhaka. A platform of women from different walks of life, held the protests demanding his removal from post alleging that he tried to justify the recent attack on two girls in Dhaka.

4. Preliminary results show that Tajikistan’s ruling People’s Democratic Party has won parliamentary elections with 51.9 per cent of the vote. Chairman of the Central Election Commission, Bakhtiyor Khudoyorzoda, announced.

5. The ambitious India-Middle East-Europe Corridor (IMEEC) gained significant momentum following high-level discussions between Indian and UAE officials in Abu Dhabi this week.

6. At the Torkham border between Pakistan and Afghanistan, a driver was killed and at least two Pakistani soldiers were injured during violent clashes. The border remained closed for the 10th consecutive day.

9. Sri Lanka, the Election Commission has announced the timelines for submission of nominations for the Local Government Elections on the island. The poll body said that the nominations will be accepted from March 17 until 12 noon on March 20.
