After treating the audiences with her Durga Puja release ‘Thomkiya Thomkiya’ a Hindi-Bengali song which became a huge hit, Akriti Kakar is back again with her new single. ‘Ki Kar Gaiyaan’ is a beautiful romantic track perfect for the wedding season this year. The video features digital stars Bhavin Bhanushali and Sameeksha Sud who have made a stir with their content across digital media. The music and lyrics are by Deep Kalsi and the video is directed by Chirag Arora. The single is released today and will be available on all major streaming platforms.
Akriti Kakar commented, “Simplicity is beautiful.. and that’s what I felt when we created this song. As a singer, I’ve poured my heart into the song with all honesty. Ki Kar Gaiyaan is about things we do in love ! Each one of us has lived this feeling of falling and rising, forgetting and remembering, losing and finding, insomnia and adrenalin rush at some point in our lives.. this song describes exactly the journey one takes in love.. a simple straight from the heart romantic punjabi song.
The video features the extremely loved actor/ influencers Sameeksha Sud & Bhavin Bhanushali spreading their sheer magical chemistry in a big fat Indian wedding set up for our music video under the direction of Chirag Arora.”
Bhavin added, “I remember jab hum shoot karne gaye the toh kitne excited the aur ek din ka shoot tha lekin pehle hi shot mein kaafi der lag gayi thi aur gaana itna sundar tha lekin kahin na kahin aisa lag raha tha ke agar yeh gaana aaj khatam nai hua toh kal kisi ke paas date nai hai toh kaise hoga??? Pehle shot mein shaam ho gayi thi sab tensed the aur din jaldi dhal gaya tha kyuki sardiyon ka mausam tha. Ek saal pehle ki baat hai jab humnein shoot kiya tha aur mai kaafi tensed tha lekin Chirag Sir, humare director woh kaafi cool hai unhone jagah pe sab change karke kaha saare scenes night ke bana dege. I remember humne 7:00 baje shoot karna chalu kiya tha agli subah 5 baje tak and now when I see the final product, it looks so beautiful, kisi ke chehre pe koi thakan ya thand nai nazar aarahi. Humare singers, Akriti Ma’am aur Deep itne pyaare actors lag rahe hai, Sam bhi bohot hi pyaari lag rahi hai. It is beautiful song.”
Sameeksha added, “My shooting experience was amazing. Akriti ki awaaz boht soothing hai mene jab first time gaan suna and I was actually lip syncing the song second time when I heard, it is so catchy. I could actually imagine myself lip syncing that song. Kuch gaane sunkar lagta hai ki haan yeh hai aapke liye, you want to do it so this was one of those songs. I have a comfort level with Chirag sir and same goes for Bhavin, he being my co actor in so many music videos & web series that I was so comfortable with him. Akriti ma’am and team sab ne booht comfortable feel karaya ki shoot karne mein booht maza aaya. We all worked like a family, it was like my own project.”
Deep added, “It was a great experience. We shot this at the same time last year.
