Twenty twenty-one has been a long and exhausting year for many of us. So this week, let us enjoy a visual treat that will give our logical-left brains some much-needed rest.
At 1 min 40 seconds, PES’s ‘Fresh Guacamole’ is the shortest film ever nominated for an Oscar. With a combination of live-action and stop-motion animation, and lateral thinking storytelling, the film is deceivingly simple. Only those familiar with the techniques will understand the painstaking effort that went into making this very short film. If you enjoy watching this film, check out more of PES’s brilliant work, available on YouTube.
