The delegation will participate in the World Economy Forum (WEF) annual conference at Davos starting from January 20.
6. A 26-year-old person from Hyderabad, Koyyada Ravi Teja, was shot dead in Washington D.C., amid heightened security a day before the swearing-in ceremony of US President Donald Trump. Teja, a resident of Chaitanyapuri’s Green Hills Colony, had embarked on his American journey in March 2022. He was searching for a full-time job, while working as a food delivery agent to support himself.

Taiwan’s ministry of national defence (MSD) has detected nine Chinese aircraft and six naval vessels around the island as of 6 am (UTC+8) on Sunday.
2. Recently China successfully launched Pakistan’s first indigenous Electro-Optical Satellite (PRSC-EO1) on January 17, 2025, using the Long March-2D rocket. The satellite aims to enhance Pakistan’s capabilities in disaster management, resource monitoring, and urban planning.
