1. India will resume scheduled international flights from December 15, Aviation Ministry said.
2. Russian President Vladimir Putin will arrive in New Delhi an official visit on 6th of December for the 21st India-Russia Annual Summit with PM Modi.
Briefing media in New Delhi, MEA Spokesman Arindam Bagchi said, the leaders will review the state and prospects of bilateral relations and discuss ways to further strengthen the strategic partnership between the two countries.
3. Foreign Ministers of India, Russia and China have reaffirmed their support for a transparent, open, inclusive and non-discriminatory multilateral trading system, with the World Trade Organization, WTO at its core. In a Joint Communique after the 18th Meeting of the Foreign Ministers of three countries, the leaders reiterated their support for the necessary reform which would preserve the centrality, core values and fundamental principles of the WTO.
4. Indian govt and Asian Development Bank (ADB) signed a loan agreement of 300 million U.S. dollars in order to improve primary health care in urban areas.
5. It will benefit more than 256 million urban dwellers including 51 million from slum areas. This loan amount will be used for the program in order to strengthen pandemic preparedness and comprehensive primary health care in the urban areas.

1. The World Health Organization (WHO) on 26 Nov cautioned countries against imposing travel restrictions linked to the new COVID-19 variant found in South Africa. It said, “The WHO recommends that countries continue to apply a risk-based and scientific approach when implementing travel measures.
2. World’s largest vaccine manufacturer Serum Institute of India on Friday shipped the first batch of its COVID-19 vaccine to the COVAX vaccine-sharing platform after an eight-month hiatus. SII said the resumption came after it surpassed its original target to produce 1 billion doses of Covishield by the end of 2021. The vaccines will be distributed to low- and middle-income countries.
3. Ethiopian government warned the US against “spreading false information” amid an ongoing war between the Ethiopian government and Tigrayan rebels. This comes after US issued an alert about potential “terrorist attacks in Ethiopia”.
4. On December 4, a total solar eclipse, which is also the last solar eclipse of the year, will be visible from Antarctica. NASA says that the cosmic phenomenon will also be visible from a few other parts of the globe. Sky gazers in the southern tip of South America, Africa, Australia, and New Zealand can see partial phases of the eclipse.
