1. India’s COVID-19 vaccination coverage has crossed 120.96 crore mark on Friday. More than 120 crore 96 lakh 90 thousand doses have been administered so far. Health Ministry said, more than 65.23 lakh vaccine doses were administered on Friday.

8. Andhra Pradesh : The Supreme Court was Friday informed that Chief Ministers of Odisha and Andhra Pradesh met on November 9 and agreed to constitute a committee to look into the controversy related to territorial jurisdiction dispute over 21 villages.

The dispute over territorial jurisdiction over 21 villages popularly called as “Kotia Group of villages” first reached the top court in 1968 when Odisha on the basis of three notifications — issued on December 1, 1920, October 8, 1923 and October 15, 1927 — claimed that Andhra Pradesh had trespassed into its well-defined territory.
10. In Visakhapatnam, Bangladesh vessel MV Maa to be open to public from 29 Dec: The vessel will in phases have an open restaurant on the deck, an air-conditioned restaurant in cargo area with a sky roof, and additional facilities like sea-going yacht, cottages and water scooters.

13. J&K : Two coaches, A1 and A2, of the Udhampur-Durg Express caught fire on Friday in Madhya Pradesh but no injuries were reported. The train caught fire after leaving the Hetampur Railway Station, railways officials said. A spokesperson said prima facie it appears the fire was caused by a short circuit. All 116 passengers in affected coaches were evacuated.
14.Veteran Malayalam lyricist Bichu Thirumala is no more. He was 80 when he breathed his last. Born B. Sivasankaran Nair, Bichu Thirumala was prolific as a lyricist in Malayalam mainstream cinema from the 1970s till the 1990s, penning over 3000 film songs as well as several devotional songs.
15. The 6th edition of biennial Indo – France joint military exercise Ex SHAKTI- 2021 culminated in France. The twelve days of intense joint military training exhibited their combat power and dominance over the extremist groups in simulated Counter Insurgency and Counter Terrorism environment.
16. The exercise was conducted in two phases involving combat conditioning and tactical training of Counter-Terrorism operations culminating with validation of training in a semi-urban environment. Both the contingents shared their best operational practices and experiences. The troops of both the contingents expressed immense satisfaction with the outcome of the exercise, in terms of the standards achieved during the conduct.
17. India, The Maldives and Sri Lanka the 15th edition of the biennial trilateral coast guard exercise ‘Dosti’, in the Maldives. The exercise was started on November 20 and concluded on November 25.
18. The Dosti Coast Guard Exercise was first launched in 1991. These exercises were bilateral earlier, involving Indian coast guard and Maldives Coast Guards. Sri Lanka joined these exercises in 2012 for the first time. Since then, it has become trilateral exercise.
19. Jaisalmer, witnessing a military exercise aimed at bringing about synergy, keeping in mind challenges of future warfare. During the visit, the Army Chief reviewed Exercise Dakshin Shakti, which was conducted by the Southern Command of Indian Army with an aim to ensure integrated application of forces in Multi-Domain Operations and uphold the Nation’s military aims
