ANDHRA PRADESH : The temple town of Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh has been flooded for four straight days now, with fresh fears around cracks developing in of the biggest water reservoirs in the state that’s located in the district. No fresh downpour has been reported but breaches on highways and other roads have cut off several villages that still remain inundated.

10. KERALA : Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Sunday expressed thanks to Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari for sanctioning the six-laning work of National Highway-66 from Kodungallur in Thrissur to Edappally in Ernakulam, which is expected to cost Rs 3,465.82 crore.
11. MAHARASHTRA: Nationalist Congress Party minister Nawab Malik’s daughter Nilofer Malik Khan posted on Twitter what she claimed was Sameer Wankhede’s marriage certificate. The document states that it was issued by marriage officer JG Barmeda of the Bandra Marriage Registrar’s office.
12. Nilofer Malik Khan posted a copy of what she said was the wedding reception card of the couple. It was purportedly held on December 7, 2006, with the ‘nikaah’ ceremony scheduled for 7 pm followed by dinner that evening. The name of the bridegroom is printed as “Sameer’ (s/o Mr Dawood and Mrs Zaheda Wankhede)” and the venue was Lokhandwala Garden in Andheri West in Mumbai.

24. ‘Shaheed Samman Yatra’, Defence Minister said that the state government should ensure that names of matyrs and the names of their villages should be inscribed on the Sainya Dham being built in Dehradun as a memorial tribute to them. Soil from homes of 1,734 martyrs’ families in Uttarakhand are being collected in urns to be brought to Dehradun and used in the construction of the Sainya Dham, a vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

26. In a major boost to the Indian Navy, INS Visakhapatnam was commissioned by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh at the Naval Dockyard in Mumbai on 21 Nov. It is the first stealth-guided missile destroyer ship of Project 15B and a crucial step for the Navy to demonstrate its indigenous capability to build complex combat platforms. The destroyer is capable to enhance the Navy’s capacity and firepower to battle threats by a margin.
