New Delhi: With days coming close to elections in Delhi, the national and state parties along with their star
leaders are campaigning to vote for their party and also spill mud on their rivals, which can also
be viewed in the positive light of constructive criticism.
The Delhi elections are due on the 5th of February 2025 which will be held in 70 constituencies
and the results are due on 8th February.
Rahul’s Remark On AAP’s Rule In Delhi And BJP’s Indifferent Attitude
Rahul Gandhi takes a spin around the Delhi UT and in a video pointing at Yamuna water passes
a vicious remark on the Arvind Kejriwal Government which has been in Delhi for 15 years and
had promised in their agenda to make Delhi as clean as Paris along with better public
infrastructure like roads, commute means, and schools, and hospitals.
Rahul Gandhi says, “Look at Delhi. The shining Delhi. The Delhi of Paris. Everywhere the
situation is the same.” Rahul Gandhi also takes this opportunity to comment on the indifferent
attitude of the Centre and Modi who according to him is known for making promises and not
delivering them.
Kejrival’s Counter Attack On Rahul Gandhi
Arvind Kejriwal says that Rahul Gandhi is making remarks about him and Modi because he is
trying to find innovative ways to bring Congress into the spotlight and also takes Rahul’s remark
as an accusation.
Implications:
What we can conclude from all the developments in Delhi election preparation is that it is going
to be an interesting one as there is clear uncertainty on who is going to win the elections. With
15 years of experience AAP is currently struggling under corruption allegations and Congress is
not an AAP ally anymore and BJP is also waiting for its turn to come in power.
