1. India has joined the UN Committee of Experts on Big Data and Data Science for Official Statistics. As part of the committee, India will contribute to shaping global standards and practices in harnessing big data and data science for official statistical purposes.
2. Singapore President Tharman Shanmugaratnam is scheduled to visit India from January 14th to January 18th. This will be the first official visit by any Singaporean president to the country in 10 years.
3. French President Emmanuel Macron has announced that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to embark on a state visit to France, followed by his participation in the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Summit, scheduled to be held next month (February).
