Three legendary Bollywood super-stars Zeenat Aman, Padmini Kolhapure & Rati Agnihotri coming together for the first time to present the event ‘Laxmikant-Pyarelal Musical Concert Tour’ across the US & Canada in the month of May-June 2022. The living legend Pyarelal ji (Laxmikant- Pyarelal) performing in the US after 25 long years, along with twenty Bollywood top musicians and legendary singers like Amit Kumar, Kavita Krishnamurthy, Sudesh Bhosle, Sadhana Sargam, Priyanka Mitra and Mohammed Salamat.
The eternal beauties and veteran actors Zeenat Aman, Padmini Kolhapuri & Rati Agnihotri, who reigned Bollywood for decades are going to grace the ultimate musical concert for the living legend Pyarelal ji, who has given timeless –classic music to their cult films and to the Indian film industry. The event is organized by one of the biggest organizers ‘Prria Haider Productions’ and ‘Splendid Global Entertainment Inc’, owned by Prria Haider and Mehboob Haider, both Indian born-US citizens for the past thirty years.
The superstar of Indian films, who also made waves with playback singing, theatre & television, Padmini Kolhapuri recalled, “Coming from a world class musical family, I picked it up instinctively because music was so deeply ingrained in our lives. But when I was offered my first film as a child artist, I guess I fell in love with films.” Padmini Kolhapuri who is cherished for her unforgettable roles in 80s films, added, Pyarelal ji has given the music for my cult film ‘Prem Rog’, who also made me what I am today. He has given music to my several films and presenting him with Zeenat Aman and Rati will be nothing more than an unbelievable and extraordinary act at the same time.”
Zeenat Aman, the first oomph girl of the 70s who has brought a new wave in the film industry and has given so many golds to the film industry, said, “I have tasted the water on every platform in the entertainment industry, from celebrated films, television to digital and I have hosted a tv-show as well. When I was offered to present the show for legendary Pyarelal ji, I couldn’t say no. He changed the music culture of our country and I’ll be honored to present him with Padmini and Rati”.
Having started their Bollywood careers almost at the same time in 70s and 80s, the three of them have been quite fond of each other and they smiled in anticipation of all-girls jaunt to present the legendary personality of Indian cinema.
Talking about the same, the veteran actor Rati Agnihotri said, “It is nothing less than an honor to present the eminent personality who has been the most successful music composer duo of the Indian cinema for the vibrant audiences and Bollywood music lovers across the US & Canada. He was ahead of his time and gift-wrapped his soul through his music. He has given music for the classic film ‘Ek Duje Ke liye’ and made it extraordinary through decades. Mehboob Haider has made this event unbelievably special by bringing all the acclaimed and legendary artists together under the same roof. I am excited to see the fire on stage with all these illustrious personalities together for the first time in history.”
The event is conceptualized and directed by Alpa Mehta of Map Worldwide and tickets for the concerts will start from early 2022. This concert is a night of coming together to celebrate the brilliant retro music and memories and will definitely be a great way to connect with music lovers across the world.
