1. India’s COVID-19 vaccination coverage has crossed 110 Crore. More than 110.18 crore vaccine doses have been administered till now. More than 52.28 lakh Vaccine Doses were administered on Wednesday.
2. Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu and PM Modi have expressed deep grief over the loss of lives due to a bus-tanker collision at the Barmer-Jodhpur Highway in Rajasthan. An ex-gratia of two lakh rupees from Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund PMNRF would be given to the next of kin of those who lost their lives due to the accident and the injured will be given 50 thousand rupees each.
3. The Congress will launch a 15-day people’s awareness programme from November 14 during which its workers will fan out across the country, holding marches and group meetings, to highlight the issue of inflation and price rise.

5. Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya will hold a meeting with health ministers of all states and Union Territories on Thursday to take forward the door-to-door COVID-19 vaccination campaign. Recently, the government launched ‘Har Ghar Dastak’ campaign for door-to-door vaccination of those who haven’t received a single dose of the COVID-19 vaccine and those who are due for the second dose.
6. Andhra Pradesh : Former Andhra University VC Koneru Ramakrishna Rao dies at 89 due illness on 09 Nov. Born on October 4, 1932, Ramakrishna Rao was an internationally recognised psychologist, Gandhian scholar and educator. He had written more than 20 books and 300 research publications. Ramakrishna Rao had served as the advisor to Higher Education and Chairman of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education.
7. Union Home Minister Amit Shah is likely to chair the meeting of the Southern Zonal Council (SZC), scheduled to be held in Andhra Pradesh’s Tirupati on November 14.
8. DELHI , CM Arvind Kejriwal said they are “keeping a check on it and doing everything needed”. “The weather’s changing and I hope dengue cases get controlled within the next 7-10 days,” Kejriwal added. The national capital has recorded over 2,700 dengue cases so far this year.
9. HIMACHAL HC rejects PIL to declare Pahari as official language. The Himachal Pradesh High Court rejected a PIL that sought a direction to the state government to declare Pahari as one of the official languages of the state. The court said Pahari lacks its own script and the dialect differs even within a district. The petitioner also sought to include Pahari as a separate category for the 2021 Census.
10. MAHARASHTRA: No petrol & ration for unvaccinated people, orders Maha’s Aurangabad
Maharashtra’s Aurangabad district administration directed ration shops, gas agencies and petrol pumps to supply groceries and fuel only to those who have been vaccinated against COVID-19 with at least one dose.

13. UTTAR PRADESH : An 18th-century idol of Maa Annapurna, which was stolen from Varanasi nearly 100 years ago, will be installed at the Kashi Vishwanath Temple on November 15. The idol was retrieved from Canada recently. The Centre will reportedly hand over the idol to UP government on Thursday.

15.The shares of Nykaa rallied 96.15% to close at ₹2,206.70 against the issue price of ₹1,125 on the BSE on its debut on the stock exchanges on Wednesday. On the NSE, it shot up 96% to ₹2,205.80. At the end of the trading on Wednesday, Nykaa crossed ₹1 lakh crore market cap, at ₹1,04,360.85 crore.

Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan’s manager Pooja Dadlani skipped summons of Mumbai Police’s SIT citing health reasons. She was summoned in connection to an extortion probe related to cruise drugs case.

20. The Second bi-annual IAF Commanders’ Conference was inaugurated by Raksha Mantri Rajnath Singh on 10 Nov at Air Headquarter (Vayu Bhawan). 21. The Army personnel posted in the Valley can pursue multiple courses from the University of Kashmir (UoK) now. The Army’s 15 Chinar Corps and the University of Kashmir (UoK), Srinagar, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that will pave way for the personnel to register with the varsity. The 18 courses offered will range from six months Certificate Courses to one-year Diploma courses and two-year Post Graduate Courses. The number of courses will be increased in the coming time.
22. Chief of Defence Staff, General Bipin Rawat will inaugurate the 14th edition of ‘c0c0n’, an annual Hacking and Cyber Security Briefing, which will be held virtually from Nov 10-13. The conference, which is being conducted by Kerala Police in association with two non-profit organisations, Society for the Policing of Cyberspace (POLCYB) and Information Security Research Association (ISRA), would primarily discuss online scams and defences during the lockdown period
23. THE INDIAN NAVY got its fourth submarine INS Vela under Project75 after completing all trails at the sea. Project75 includes the construction of six submarines of Scorpene design. These submarines are being constructed at Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited (MDL) Mumbai.

Defence Corridor project: Land allotted to Brahmos in Lucknow : The state govt has allotted land in the state capital to Brahmos Aerospace and in Jhansi to Bharat Dynamics Limited under the Defence Corridor project of the Centre, said UP industrial development minister Satish Mahana in a statement.
