7. Under the Animal Exchange Program between Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat, a pair of Gir lions has been brought to Bhopal from Junagadh’s Sakkarbagh Zoo in Gujarat. Both these lions have been kept in Van Vihar National Park in the capital city Bhopal. Efforts were being made to bring lions from Junagadh’s Gir National Park to Madhya Pradesh for the last 16 years.

The Telangana state government will replace over 70 lakh Pattadar passbooks issued by the previous BRS administration following the passage of the Bhu Bharati Bill in the recent Legislative Assembly session. The new passbooks will feature 11 columns, including a detailed history of land ownership, compared to the single-column format of the controversial Dharani system. The process of issuing the fresh pattadar passbooks is slated to begin in April.
