1. President of the National Assembly of Armenia, Alen Simonyan met Vice-President and Chairman of Rajya Sabha Jagdeep Dhankhar in the Parliament House yesterday.

2. An Indian Woman deceived by a travel agent returned home today after 22 years from Pakistan. Hamida Bano, arriving in the homeland was handed over to officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. After completing the necessary paperwork, the Indian Immigration and Customs Department transferred her to the Tehsildar Attari of the District Administration.

3. The President of Sri Lanka, Mr. Anura Kumara Dissanayaka paid a visit to the World Heritage Mahabodhi Temple in Bodhgaya, Bihar.

4. The Meghalaya government has alerted the Centre over the recent sighting of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) near the border with Bangladesh. This comes after the Turkey-made Bayraktar TB2 unmanned aerial vehicles were spotted near the border.

1. In 🇳🇵Nepal, at a programme organised on the 106th Establishment Day of Lalitpur Metropolitan City, Prime Minister K P Sharma Oli has emphasised that all three tiers of the government should be people-centric and service-oriented.

2. 🇷🇺Russian Nuclear Protection Forces Chief Igor Kirillov Killed in Electric Scooter Bomb Attack. As per the media report, following the blast, 🇺🇦Ukraine’s security service claimed responsibility for the attack.

6. In Sri Lanka, Dr. Jagath Wickramaratne has been elected as new Speaker of the Parliament. The appointment of the new speaker comes following the resignation of Asoka Ranwala on December 13 in the midst of a controversy over his educational qualifications.
