According to a government order, the winter break for classes up to 5th will be from December 10 to February 28. For Classes 6th to 12th, the winter break will be from December 16 to February 28.

13. India’s Prototype Fast Breeder Reactor (PFBR), located in Kalpakkam, Tamil Nadu, is on track to become operational by the end of 2025. 1. The Indian Army has recently conducted significant drone warfare drills in the high-altitude terrains of Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim, reflecting its ongoing commitment to enhancing military capabilities in challenging environments.The Buland Bharat high-altitude integrated surveillance and firepower training exercise took place in Arunachal Pradesh, specifically targeting the Tawang and West Kameng districts.

2. The Border Security Force (BSF) has launched a significant electronic surveillance initiative aimed at addressing vulnerabilities along the India-Pakistan and India-Bangladesh borders. This project is designed to secure over 600 vulnerable patches, particularly in areas where physical fencing is not feasible due to geographical challenges, such as rivers and other natural barriers.

3. The Harimau Shakti 2024 joint military exercise between India and Malaysia commenced on 02 December 2024, at Bentong Camp in the Pahang district of Malaysia. This marks the fourth edition of the annual exercise, which is scheduled to run until 15 December 2024. The event aims to enhance bilateral defence relations and improve interoperability between the two armies.
