virus like covid virus called Marburg Virus.

Bleeding Eye Virus reservoir host is an African fruit bat called Rousettus aegyptiacus.
How Does It Spread?
Bleeding Eye Virus spreads from human to human connection via blood, bodily fluids, droplets,
secretions etc.
What Are The Symptoms Of Bleeding Eye Virus?
The symptoms include red eyes, body aches, fever, chills,nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, etc.
How Many Cases Have Reported Till Now?
Till now, around 15 deaths have been reported due to Bleeding Eye Virus and more than
hundreds have been infected by the virus in Rwanda.
Future Implications:
Like Covid Virus if we are unable to contain it then even Bleeding Eye Virus has potential to
infect people globally and since we don’t have vaccine or treatment for it, it may lead to millions
of deaths. Hence early proactive approach may help us to deal with situations better.
