1. At least 11 passengers were killed and 25 others injured after a Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation bus overturned in Gondia district of the state on Friday afternoon.
2. The bus, operated under the service name ‘Shiv Shahi’, was carrying 36 passengers and heading to Gondia district from Bhandara in eastern Maharashtra when it flipped over at Khajri village in Sadak Arjuni taluka.

1. The Indian Army has launched the Eklavya digital platform, a significant advancement in officer training aimed at modernizing military education. 2. The initial phase of training for the Gaganyaatris, the Indian astronauts selected for the joint ISRO-NASA mission to the International Space Station (ISS), has reached a significant milestone. This mission marks a crucial step in India’s human spaceflight program, Gaganyaan, and involves extensive collaboration between Indian and American space agencies.

India and the United Kingdom have recently formalized a significant agreement aimed at enhancing the capabilities of the Indian Navy through the development of electric propulsion systems for warships. This framework pact was signed on 28 November 2024, during the third joint working group meeting of the Electric Propulsion Capability Partnership held in Portsmouth, UK.

Indian Navy Intercepted a Sri Lankan-Flagged Vessels: In a significant joint operation, the Indian Navy successfully intercepted two fishing vessels flagged by Sri Lanka in the Arabian Sea, leading to the seizure of approximately 500 kg of crystal methamphetamine. This operation took place on November 24 and 25, 2024, based on intelligence shared by the Sri Lankan Navy.
5. An Indian Air Force (IAF) contingent has arrived in Egypt to participate in the second edition of the Tactical Leadership Program (TLP). 6. India’s recent successful test of the K-4 submarine-launched ballistic missile (SLBM) from the INS Arighaat marks a significant enhancement of its nuclear capabilities. This development is pivotal for several reasons: On 28 November 2024, the Indian Navy conducted a test firing of the K-4 missile, which has a range of approximately 3,500 kilometers. This was the first time the missile was launched from a submarine, specifically the newly commissioned INS Arighaat.
