1. The Supreme Court directed the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) to consider relaxing the restrictions on physical classes for schools, colleges, and other educational institutions in Delhi-NCR. These restrictions were imposed last week due to severe air pollution.
2. The Indian Coast Guard and other agencies have recently achieved a significant milestone in drug enforcement, seizing 5 tonnes of narcotics in the Andaman Sea, following an earlier operation that netted 700 kilograms of methamphetamine off the Gujarat coast. This operation is part of the ongoing efforts under Operation Sagar Manthan.

This leg will take the vessel to Lyttelton, New Zealand, covering approximately 3,400 nautical miles (about 6,300 kilometers) over an estimated 20 days.

The 15th edition of Exercise Vajra Prahar 2024, a bilateral joint military exercise between the Indian Army and the U.S. Army Special Forces, concluded on 23 November 2024, at the Orchard Combat Training Centre in Idaho, USA.
