1. PM Modi concludes 3-day US visit, departs for India. He addresses 76th session of UN General Assembly in New York on 25 Sep. He warned the global community to be aware of the challenges of terrorism.

1. Taliban form 11 new rules to curb Afghan media content
: The Taliban regime in Afghanistan has come up with a set of rules to curb scribe organisations from publishing content which is in conflict with the militant group’s agenda.
2. Residents of a Hazara-dominated farming community in central Afghanistan say they have been ordered out of their homes by Taliban doing the bidding of Pashtun landlords who want to seize their crops and stores.
3. Seven people killed in Somalia suicide car bomb explosion. The Islamist militant group Al-Shabab claimed responsibility for the attack.

In a reality check for Taliban backers, the extremist group has started unfurling its true colours. The Taliban on 25 Sep (Saturday) hanged a dead body from a crane in Herat’s main square in western Afghanistan.
