India’s archer Harvinder Singh has won bronze medal in men’s individual recurve open at Paralympics Games in Tokyo.

Singh lost the semi-final to Kevin Mather of USA, by 6-4 in the semi-final at the Yumenoshima Final Field & contested for Bronze.

Harvinder , in his bronze medal match beat South Korea’s Kim Min Su in the shoot-off. 31-year-old , Word’s No 23 , Gold Medalist of para Asian Games 2018, An economics scholar from the Punjabi University, Patiala, Havinder Singh , collected three shoot-off wins on the day starting with his triumphs in the opening rounds.

In the bronze playoff, shoot – off the Indian responded in style shooting a perfect 10 against Kim’s 8 for a 6-5 (26-24, 27-29, 28-25, 25-25, 26-27) (10-8) & registered win.
