34 artists participate in Creative Leaves IX a mega art exhibition
This weekend will see 34 artists take part in the mega art exhibition
organised by Creative Art Affairs, a group that has selflessly been
working for development of artists. This one is the 9th edition of
it’s series of group exhibitions ‘Creative Leaves’ in Kolkata, to
bring artists from that area on to a global platform.
Founder Amb. Dr. (HC) Sonjaye Maurya says, “The group is supposed to
be the most reasonable and creates value added services and activities
for its team members. The event is coordinated by artist and peace
ambassador Sanjukta Kar, who is efficient in making it excellent in
all aspects. This four day exhibition will feature 34 eminent
professionals and budding artists displaying their beautiful
creations.”
Artists Amita Chakarawarty, Debashree Datta, Tapeshwar Prasad, Bidisha
Chakravarty, Aparajita Brahma, Susmita Guha Roy, Pratibha Sharma,
Pinkynita Sinha, Itirekha Chanda, Shampa Mondal Dey, Tulika Mukherjee
, Aritri Chakraborty, Rushal Yadav, Sabumon. M. S, Niladri Das, Raima
Bag, Nayantika Manna, Kailash Manna, Tushar Khan, Snehanjan manna,
Arka Ghosh, Debjani Ghosh, Arindom Sengupta,
Rudraprosad Bera, Dr. Kasturi Bakshi, Proshomaa Anindya Kakoli, Ruma
Agwekar, Sharmita Roy, Priyadarshini Roy, Debdatta Pal, Sharmistha
Banerjee, Sumeli Das, Amb. Sanjukta Kar and Amb. Dr.(HC) Sonjaye
Maurya will be showcasing their masterpieces.
Talking about himself Sonjaye adds, “I have been felicitated with many
international awards and titles like Kala Ratn, Kala Shiromani, Bharat
Jyoti, Swami Vivekanand Excellence Award and others and I have been
written about in more than 100 books and magazines globally and
interviewed on TV Channels from London, New York, Ghana and many more.
I was also nominated for Padma Shree 2024.”
The exhibition that begins on Aug 30 will go on till Sept 2, 2024 at
the Jamini Roy Gallery, ICCR, Park Street, Kolkata from 3 pm to 8 pm.
