A win & A Loss, but Satisfactory performance, On Day2 by Indian female paddlers

India started its winning campaign in Paralympics, with women single Table Tennis match.

An International paddler , world’s no.8 Bhavina Patel , washed away the yesterdays sorrow by defeating Megan Shackelton of Great Britain by 3-1 in women table tennis (individual C4 ) Group stage 2 matches,

The 4 points lead in first set , steamed up the confidence of Bhavina although it was a hard & struggling match, especially the 3rd set. She win over Great Britain’s Megan Shackelton by 11-7 , 9-11, 17-15, 13-11,

On the other hand, 33 years Old , An International player, Sonal Patel, despite of hard struggle misses out his 2nd group Match too. Lost to Lee Mi-Gyu (Korea) by 3-1 , in the Qualification Round of individual C3 category Women Table Tennis

Indeed it was a thrilling match, a struggling match where Sonal tried hard to come back till 3rd round but couldn’t & lost with score of 12-10, 5-11, 3-11, 9-11.

Sonal is bowed out from Paralympics whereas Bhavina moved on to the Knock- out stages of Para Table – Tennis.
